Six // Gone Glamping
You’re sixth year was another one pretty full year of activities.
There was of course Granny and GG’s Ruby anniversary (who could forget don’t call it Ruby just call it groovy… The singalong).
There was also a trip to Wales to see where grandpa lived during the war, at the famously named Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
We shared the journey with Claire and Ian and Maddie and William and it was a fantastic trip. Trip being the optimum word as I hurt myself went I went to kick a football and landed flat on my back in the sand.
But the highlight of the year was when the four of us went glamping. It was clear that your enjoyment of camping would be similar to mine going forward. I am not a lover of camping, as you know, so the only camping I actually enjoy is either in a campervan or, as we did, when camping in style, staying in a luxury tent with a double bed, a log burner, and a super cool secret bed in a cupboard for you and your brother.
I will never forget you running around with Casper in a wheelbarrow. Joy on your face… and sheep poo in the air.
Pretty sure that was the last time we all went camping together.
